Working closely with our client and the web designer, we will outline the site’s blueprint, write content, source and preparing image files, and manage the entire construction process from start to finish. Intro Course Part I: Editions, Price Structures & Defining Your Product
In addition to any other questions you may have, we will discuss these frequent questions: How should I edition my work? How should I price my work? What if I print in many different sizes? What if I have sold the same image printed using different mediums like silver gelatin and a pigment print? What does it mean to define my product?
There is no one right way of doing things. The best solutions come from a thorough knowledge of the industry coupled with an understanding of your goals, values, and unique ideas about how you want to share your art with the world. Our consultations take the form of a dialogue in which we will discuss your vision. With a comprehensive understanding of your work in place, we will share what galleries and collectors expect and what systems other artists have successfully put into practice. We can then help you define what you sell and develop an edition and price structure that is best for you.
