“The Art of the Book”
Wonderful to work with the ever-inspiring Jospehine Sacabo and Elephant Quilt Productions on The Art of the Book, a short film about the making of Sacabo’s beautiful handmade art books. Check out the video HERE.
What’s Been Happening – a Few Highlights!
Wow, it’s been a while since we’ve shared The Latest! We’ve been keeping busy the past few years, continuing partnerships with artists and collectors across a range of projects—here are a few highlights.
We were honored to serve as Project Manager for Dawoud Bey’s In This Here Place, presented as part of Prospect.5. Mr. Bey graciously included this statement on the exhibition introductory panel, “I would additionally like to extend big thanks to my project manager in New Orleans, Jenny Bagert, who coordinated all aspects of the plantation site visits and exhibition logistics on my behalf with professionalism and grace.” The work was later included as part of Dawoud Bey: Elegy at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
We were also Project Manager for the very special Two Versions of the Same Story: Tina Freeman and Willie Birch at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts, and collaborated with Joseph A. Rosen on the Kickstarter campaign and the long-anticipated publication of Inside the Moment: Iconic Blues, Soul, Jazz, Rock, and R&B Images and History.
We launched a sister company in 2020, Ground Control Consulting, focused on large-scale, mission-driven initiatives with nonprofits, including statewide efforts in Louisiana such as the Vaccine Equity Project during COVID, the Medicaid Outreach Project during the resumption of Medicaid eligibility renewals, and voter outreach campaigns aimed at increasing voter participation.
We are grateful to work with such incredible people and organizations.
A Homepage Video for Frances Swigart
We had so much fun working on this video piece for the homepage of Frances Swigart’s new website, francesswigart.com!
Thank you, Jason Rhein and Elephant Quilt Productions, as always, for making it so easy.

The FENCE: A New Photography Installation in New Orleans
PhotoNOLA 2020 is coming soon! I just went to see the FENCE, an outdoor exhibition featuring the work of over 100 photographers along the Lafitte Greenway (starting at Norman Francis Parkway by Bayou St. John & extending towards Broad St). Really enjoyed this beautiful day and seeing such a strong exhibition by photographers I know and love with artists I’m seeing for the first time – check it out!
